We are looking for a chairperson for the Longarm Social Group. Responsibilities would include setting up a schedule, finding a location, working with the host/hostess on the program, and getting the info in the newsletter.
On a dark and rainy night….the March Longarmer’s meeting was held at Adora’s house. Adora, Beth, Melissa and Dorothy attended and we had a great time talking about longarming, as well as admiring Adora’s needlework (I don’t know these things…so crossstitch?)
The February meeting was held at Melissa’s house. It was great to be out in the desert at night. We had 10 people there and had a great time exchanging tips and tricks of longarming. The first meeting of the Longarm Social Group was a great success. Eleven people attended. People who wanted to see how a quilt is pinned to the frame were invited to come early.
