SUMMARY:General Monthly Meeting - Quilt Of Valor
DESCRIPTION:Join us for fun at our regular monthly meeting.  The doors ope
 n at 6:15 and the meeting starts at 6:45.\n\nWe are honored to welcome Ton
 a Jackson\, Arizona’s Quilts of Valor State Coordinator to our September
  meeting. Tona’s connection to the military began early in life. Her fat
 her and uncle both served in the Army during World War II\, and several ot
 her family members served in the Navy. She grew up listening closely to th
 eir stories which left a lasting impression on her. In the 1990s\, a dear 
 friend introduced Tona to quilting\, and it quickly became one of her grea
 test passions. Years later\, after attending a presentation about Quilts o
 f Valor\, she immediately knew she wanted to become involved. She found it
  to be a meaningful way to thank veterans by wrapping them in “comfortin
 g and healing Quilts of Valor.” In early 2023\, Tona founded the Arizona
  Quilts of Valor group with just 12 members. Join us in September as she s
 hares her inspiring journey and personal connection to Quilts of Valor.
