The February meeting was held at Melissa’s house. It was great to be out in the desert at night. We had 10 people there and had a great time exchanging tips and tricks of longarming. Melissa demonstrated putting a quilt on using zippers. By using zippers, you can easily and quickly attach and remove the quilt to free up your frame for the next quilt.
For me, the most mind blowing thing I learned was that she leaves the pins in the leaders, so she doesn’t have to fumble around putting in pins. I haven’t tried it yet, but it is a GREAT IDEA!!
