The first meeting of the Longarm Social Group was a great success. Eleven people attended. People who wanted to see how a quilt is pinned to the frame were invited to come early.
Once everyone had arrived, we discussed ideas for what we wanted to learn from one another and did introductions to get to know what kind of equipment and experience we all have. Once we decided on topics and locations for the next few meetings, we watched a video on how to add backing to a quilt that is already on the frame and partially quilted.
